Comino is a tiny island situated between Malta and Gozo. There is just one hotel on the island and only four known permanent residents so it is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere quieter and more isolated. With no vehicles allowed on the island, the nature is unspoilt and the atmosphere is tranquil.
Comino is home to the famous blue lagoon beach that is a great place to visit on a day trip and there are many boats that bring tourists to this spot every day. The blue lagoon is simply stunning, and the sparkling blue water is just as amazing in real life as it appears in the photographs. When the blue lagoon gets busy in the high season, make sure you take the time to visit the beaches on the other side of the island, which are just as impressive. If you like walking then you will enjoy exploring the island and its wildlife, including many species of birds.
