Destinations

Malta isn’t short of great places to see, stay and explore. Whether you’re a backpacker looking to discover every corner of the island, a family looking for a beach break or a couple wanting an activity holiday, Malta has it all and more. With a great year round Mediterranean climate, you can be sure to visit at any time of year and get some sunshine!

Being such a small archipelago, you really can visit everywhere in Malta on a short trip. The bus system is good enough to get you to the main spots, but you can also rent a car to really get into the nooks and crannies! Stride up and down the coasts of Malta, hop on a boat trip over to Comino and even further to Gozo and you will find thriving towns and untouched villages.

We love every corner of our beautiful archipelago, work your way around the islands below and try and pick your favourite, or if you need any more guidance check out our list of best places to visit in Malta.

Malta

Malta is the main and biggest of the islands in the Maltese archipelago. It is home to the biggest and most popular resorts but don’t let that put you off if you prefer somewhere quieter as there are some lovely remote spots to stay on the island as well. Have a browse through some of the resorts below…

Gozo

Gozo is the second biggest island in Malta and is quieter than the main island. There are some lovely places to stay if you want to base yourself here but it is also a great place to visit on a day trip if you are staying on the main island. Find out more about Gozo below…

Comino

Comino is a beautiful little island that is home to the famously crystal clear waters of the blue lagoon. There is only one hotel on Comino so it doesn’t get as many tourists actually staying on the island but is a great place to go on a day trip. Find out more about Comino below…
