August like July is hot! Temperatures can sometimes climb avove 40ºC/104°F so if you are looking to laze around by the beach or the pool then August could be a great month to visit Malta. Sightseeing is still possible but is best done at the beginning of the day whilst it is still cool. If you are looking to do lots of sightseeing on your holiday to Malta then you may be better visiting in the spring or autumn when it is cooler.

If you are visiting Malta in August then make sure you don’t spend extended periods in the sunshine and be sure to drink lots of water. You may also want to opt for an accommodation option that has air conditioning as the temperatures are still hot at night, which can make uncomfortable sleeping conditons.
