Weather in July

July is super hot in Malta and if your idea of a great holiday is lying on the beach in the sunshine then July could be the perfect month for you to visit! You can enjoy long sunny days by the pool and lovely warm evenings and al fresco dining. If you don’t like the scorching heat then it may not be a good idea to visit Malta in July as you may find the weather to be too hot and unbearable; sometimes temperatures get higher than 40ºC/104°F!

If you are visiting in July and do want to visit some of the sights then it is best to do this in the morning whilst it is still cool as by the afternoon you will probably find it too hot to walk around.

When looking for accommodation in July it is advisable to book somewhere with air conditioning/fans so that you have some escape from the heat in your room.
